The Group has made investment in Fertilizer business through its subsidiary, namely, Jaypee Fertilizers & Industries Limited (JFIL).

JFIL has proposed to participate as a strategic investor in the Revival Scheme of the Kanpur Fertilizer Plant of Duncans Industries Ltd.

Dairy

The Group has launched a dairy project which will source milk from villages along the Yamuna Expressway, that is, across Gautam Budh Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura and Agra.

Work has begun on a milk-processing plant at Tappal. With the operation of this plant, the company will have its own brand of dairy products, including packaged milk, flavoured milk, long shelf-life milk, curd, drinkable yogurt, cheese spreads, ghee and butter.

Jaypee Soya / Mustard Processing Complex

The Group has diversified into agri business and has set up soya and mustard processing plant at Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. For this purpose, a separate company, Jaiprakash Agri Initiatives Ltd has been formed. Jaypee Oilseeds Processing Complex is unique in its approach and has facilities to handle all types of products and by-products from Soya and Mustard.
