The Jaypee Group is the 3rd largest cement producer in the country. The group produces a special blend of Portland Pozzolana cement under the brand name of ‘Jaypee Cement’ (PPC). Its cement division currently operates a modern and computerized process control cement plants, with an aggregate capacity of 28 MnTPA. The company is in the midst of capacity expansion of its cement business in the Northern, Southern, Central, Eastern and Western parts of the country and is slated to expand to 35.90 Mn TPA by FY13 (expected) with Captive Thermal Power plants totaling 672 MW.
