Centre of excellence in Minimal Access Surgery will have four divisions:

1.    Laparoscopic Surgery
2.    Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery Program
3.    Day Care Surgery Program
4.    Endoscopy Suite

Laparoscopic Surgery:

Centre for Minimal Access Surgery is dedicated to performing surgical procedures using Minimal Access techniques, so that the patients enjoy faster recovery and fewer post-surgical complications, thus minimizing surgical trauma, pain, blood loss and shorter stay at the hospital.

The centre will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology to deliver high precision surgery. It encompasses operative procedures for the GI system, ENT, thorax, abdomen and urinary tract. The complete range of Endoscopic technology required to carry out Minimal Access Surgery with a complete range of high precision hand instruments, will be available in the centre.

Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery Program:

With advancement in technology, now laparoscopic surgeries are done with a new technique to minimize access trauma, provide  superior aesthetic results, lesser recovery time and at the same time not compromise on surgical principles. The centre will introduce Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery program, this technique requires special training and high degree of precision.

Endoscopy Suite:

The centre will have state-of-the-art endoscopy suite with 10 dedicated daycare beds. It will be situated on the level 3 in the hospital building. The centre will be equipped to perform all kinds of endoscopic procedures (both diagnostic & therapeutic), a few of them are mentioned below:
